Valdez City Pool is an artificial reef site in the United States, offering a shallow environment ranging from 0 to 4 metres. The site features various artificial structures colonised by marine life, including copper rockfish, kelp pipefish, hairy porcelain crabs, and ochre sea stars. Wide-eyed flounder are often found resting on the substrate, while sea squirts inhabit the reef surfaces. On-site facilities include parking, toilets, showers, and changing rooms, allowing for convenient shore entry and post-dive rinsing.

Shoup Bay Lagoon is a cold-water site located in the United States, characterised by the presence of floating icebergs calved from the nearby Shoup Glacier. Access to this site requires a boat, as it is situated approximately 8000 metres from the shore. Divers and snorkellers should be prepared for cold water temperatures ranging from 4C to 14C, with snow potentially present near the glacier even during summer months. The site is subject to strong currents and boat traffic, making it suitable for advanced divers. Facilities available at the access point include parking and toilets.
