The route involves navigating through salt water into the freshwater section, where it is possible to surface beneath tree roots. Species recorded around this area include Indian Lionfish, pufferfish, Turkish Wrasse, European Parrotfish, wrasses, lizardfish, fireworms, white seabream, crabs, snails, and sea cucumbers.
