The side facing Portinatx reaches a maximum depth of 20 metres, while the open sea side drops more steeply. Punta Jaime, also known as Punta Mares, marks the western boundary of the bay of Portinatx. This wall dive features vertical rock faces that descend to a maximum depth of 38 metres. Divers experience mild currents and visibility ranging from 10 to 30 metres. Access is strictly by boat, which can be arranged through the local dive shop that also provides air fills. Water temperatures fluctuate between 15C and 26C throughout the year. When entering or exiting the water from the boat, monitor the surface and water column for jellyfish, which are present in the area.
