Visibility can be variable, so it is recommended to check current conditions with your dive operator before departure.

Lagon De Saint-Leu is a shallow reef site located within the Saint-Gilles Marine Reserve. Less frequently encountered inhabitants include the Snowflake Moray, Guineafowl Puffer, Blackspotted Pufferfish, Raccoon Butterflyfish, Chevron Butterflyfish, Zanzibar Butterflyfish, Spotted Boxfish, Unicornfish, Rock Cod, Pacific Trumpetfish, and various other pufferfish. Access is via the shore, and the site is suitable for beginners due to the mild currents and shallow, protected nature of the reef.

Le Cimetiere is a reef site located 1000 metres offshore within the Saint-Gilles Marine Reserve.
