Waikato Drift is a shallow, current-driven marine site in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. Surface temperatures fluctuate between 22°C in summer and 10-15°C in winter. Visibility varies significantly, ranging from 3 to 20 metres. Shore access is available, and the site is suitable for beginners. Divers should be prepared for cold water and potential currents. Facilities include parking, toilets, showers, changing rooms, rinse stations, air fills, equipment rental, and guided tours.
