Cala di Pollara is situated within a collapsed volcanic crater, offering a unique topography of large boulders and submerged caves. Punta Scario is a reef site located in Taormina and Isola Bella, Italy, featuring a pebble beach with deep water. The site is accessible via an easy shore entry and is suitable for beginners. Visibility typically ranges from 10 to 30 metres, and water temperatures fluctuate between 15 and 19C. Due to the depth and potential for strong surges, this site is suited for intermediate divers. Boat traffic is active on the surface, necessitating the use of an SMB before ascent. The habitat supports a variety of Mediterranean reef fish and invertebrates.
