Guantanamo Bay Reef in eastern Cuba features a combination of natural and artificial reef structures. The site is suitable for beginners, with depths ranging from 3 to 17 metres and an average depth of 12 metres. Visibility is consistently 30 metres, providing clear views across the reef. Water temperatures remain between 27 and 30 degrees Celsius throughout the year. Divers can access the site via boat or shore. Due to moderate currents that can increase unexpectedly, divers should remain close to the boat during entry and recovery. Lionfish are present at this site, so divers should avoid placing hands in crevices or overhangs.
