Matapalo Rock is an advanced dive site featuring a combination of pinnacle, reef, and wall topography. The site begins at a depth of approximately 12 metres, extending across rock formations and flats before dropping off into a wall. Located 25 kilometres from shore, this site requires boat access and is subject to strong currents, particularly during outgoing tides. Visibility typically ranges between 5 and 15 metres, with water temperatures consistently between 28 and 30 degrees Celsius. Due to the challenging current conditions, this site is intended for experienced divers capable of managing drift dives. A typical dive duration at this location is 45 minutes.

La Viuda at Isla del Caño is a diverse site featuring reef, canyon, and cave topography. The site is accessible by boat and is suitable for beginners, with depths ranging from 5 to 18 metres and an average of 10 metres. The eastern side offers a gentle profile ideal for entry-level training, while the western side features a slope suitable for advanced courses. Divers experience mild currents and visibility between 10 and 25 metres. Water temperatures remain warm, typically between 28 and 30C, though cooler thermoclines may occur. Hazards include boat traffic, surge, and the presence of sharks. Night diving is permitted at this location.

Cativo is a wreck dive site featuring a sunken sailboat resting on a sandy, sloping bottom. Located at Isla del Caño, the site is suited for advanced divers and is frequently used for deep and technical dive training. Divers can expect depths ranging from 15 to 27 metres, with an average depth of 20 metres. Access is by boat only. Conditions at the site include strong currents and visibility reaching up to 20 metres. Water temperatures remain between 26C and 29C throughout the year. Due to the depth and current, divers should be aware of potential hazards including entanglement and low visibility.
