Visibility at the site ranges from 10 to 30 metres. Divers should be prepared for cold water temperatures of 12 to 13 degrees Celsius and moderate currents. Entry can be made via boat or from the shore, though surge and swell near the surface can make entry and exit challenging. Due to the depth, cold water, and current, this site is suited for intermediate divers who are comfortable managing these conditions.

La Lobera, located off Coquimbo, features a combination of reef structures and dense kelp forests. Divers typically explore depths between 7 and 14 metres, with an average depth of 10 metres. The site is characterised by strong currents and surge, requiring careful planning for boat entries and exits. Visibility ranges from 10 to 30 metres, allowing for clear views of the kelp canopy. Due to cold water temperatures between 13 and 16 degrees Celsius, a drysuit or a 7mm wetsuit with hood and gloves is recommended. Divers should remain aware of boat traffic during ascents and potential entanglement risks within the kelp.

Roca Alfa is a deep reef and wall site located off the coast of Coquimbo, Chile. The topography drops from 15 metres to a maximum depth of 45 metres. Divers encounter cold water temperatures between 12 and 13 degrees Celsius, necessitating appropriate thermal protection. Visibility is variable, typically ranging from 5 to 10 metres. The site is subject to moderate currents and is accessible only by boat. Due to the significant depths and cold conditions, divers must manage the risk of nitrogen narcosis and maintain close contact with their buddy. The habitat supports a variety of temperate marine life, including reef fish and invertebrates.

The Lynch Wreck is a shipwreck located off the coast of Coquimbo, Chile. The site features the wreck structure resting on the seabed, providing relief against the surrounding bottom.
