Water temperatures fluctuate significantly throughout the year, ranging from -1C in winter months to 20C in August, with reports of temperatures as low as -3C in April. Arisaig Provincial Park, known for its Fossil Cliffs, offers a unique opportunity to explore 400-million-year-old Silurian rock formations. Murray Harbour is an offshore reef site located approximately 16 kilometres from the Nova Scotia Eastern Shore. Divers and snorkellers encounter mild currents and visibility typically between 10 and 25 metres. Water temperatures are cold, fluctuating between -1C and 12C throughout the year. Due to the significant depth and environmental conditions, this site is suited for advanced divers. Hazards at this location include jellyfish and sharks. Local facilities provide air fills, boat charters, guided tours, and gear storage to support the 120-minute typical dive duration.
