Entering the water is extremely hazardous due to the presence of saltwater crocodiles, rip currents, sharks, sharp coral, and stonefish. Dangerous marine stingers, including Box Jellyfish and Irukandji, are also present, particularly during warmer months. Swimming and snorkelling are not recommended.
