Lake Scooba is a shallow freshwater muck dive located within the Savannah Artificial Reefs. Reaching a maximum depth of 10 metres, the site is suitable for beginner divers. The environment features a muck bottom and mild currents, requiring slow and patient movement to avoid stirring up the substrate. Visibility is variable, ranging from reasonable to near-zero, which provides practical experience in managing changing conditions. Divers should be prepared for cold water temperatures throughout the year. Shore entry is standard, and it is recommended to confirm visibility and secure air fills locally before arrival, as on-site facilities are not confirmed.
