The site is notable for high visibility, typically between 30 and 60 metres, which provides clear sight lines along the wall face. Both shore and boat entries are available. Due to the consistent cold water temperatures of 3 to 6°C, appropriate thermal protection is required. This site is suitable for intermediate divers and supports night diving year-round. Facilities including parking and a cafe are located on site.

Clear Lake is a shore-entry artificial reef site reaching depths between 10 and 61 metres. With an average depth of 40 metres and water temperatures consistently around 3.3°C, this site is suited for intermediate divers. Visibility can reach up to 100 metres, though conditions vary. Divers must navigate potential down currents and entanglement risks associated with the artificial structures. Shore entry requires caution due to surf and rip currents. Facilities include parking, toilets, showers, changing rooms, and a rinse station. Night diving is permitted for those prepared for the site's specific environmental challenges.
