Jim River Bay is a freshwater artificial reef located where the James River enters the main body of the Jamestown Reservoir. The site features a unique landscape where the mixing of waters can occasionally improve visibility in the shallows near the reeds. Divers should be prepared for variable conditions, including cold water, low visibility, and a thermocline. The reservoir stratifies during the summer months, with temperature changes of up to 3.2 degrees Celsius recorded in the water column during June. Depths at this site range from the surface to 11 metres, with an average depth of 5 metres. Access is via a shore entry, and the site is best suited for intermediate divers.

The Islet is a freshwater artificial reef located north of the Jamestown Dam. The site features rocky riprap surrounding the island and the dam face, providing hard structure within the Jamestown Reservoir. Divers can expect depths ranging from 2 to 12 metres with visibility typically between 9 and 11 metres. Conditions include moderate currents and a notable thermocline, as the reservoir experiences thermal stratification during the summer months. Entry is possible from both shore and boat. The site is suited for intermediate divers, with typical dives lasting around 45 minutes. Facilities available include parking, toilets, showers, changing rooms, a rinse station, air fills, equipment rental, a cafe, first aid, a dive shop, and boat charters.
