Northeast Rock Jetties at Branched Oak Lake consist of man-made rock structures located near the marina. These submerged boulders create an artificial reef environment that provides habitat for local freshwater fish, including crappie and catfish. The site is accessible via shore entry and reaches depths of up to 11 metres. Conditions vary, with mild currents and water temperatures that fluctuate significantly by season. Summer surface temperatures can reach 21 to 29 degrees Celsius, though deeper water remains cooler. Divers and snorkellers should be aware of boat traffic in the area and the potential for cold water, which requires appropriate thermal protection.
