HMS Hermes is a historic shipwreck located off the coast of Trincomalee, Sri Lanka. The wreck lies at depths between 42 and 53 metres, with an average depth of 50 metres. This site is a designated British war grave and is strictly for advanced divers due to the deep nature of the wreck, overhead environments, and strong currents. White Rock Batticaloa is a marine site located 4000 metres off the coast of Trincomalee, Sri Lanka. This site features a diverse topography including a reef, pinnacle, cave, and wall. Divers can expect depths ranging from 10 to 12 metres, with an average depth of 10 metres. The site is accessed by boat and is suitable for intermediate divers, with mild currents and visibility typically between 20 and 35 metres. Water temperatures remain consistent, ranging from 28C to 30C throughout the year. The habitat supports a variety of reef fish and invertebrates. Divers should remain aware of boat traffic in the area.
