Best for advanced divers, 5-12m, shore entry.
Echinger Weiher is a quarry lake formed in 1965 during motorway construction. This freshwater site features an underground spring that prevents the water from freezing, allowing for year-round diving. Divers can expect depths ranging from 5 to 12 metres with visibility typically between 5 and 10 metres. Entry is via the shore. Due to the nature of the environment, divers should be prepared for cold water conditions. The site is suited for advanced divers and is frequently used for training purposes.
