Tumakohua Pass in Fakarava is a drift, reef, and wall site accessible by boat. Divers and snorkelers encounter a variety of marine life, including common sightings of whitetip reef sharks, spotted unicornfish, and wrasses. Uncommon species recorded here include Napoleon wrasse, Achilles tang, regal angelfish, titan triggerfish, giant moray, ornate butterflyfish, pennant bannerfish, rock cod, moorish idol, groupers, and reticulated butterflyfish.
