Lucinda is a single artificial reef site off the Cardwell Coast, accessed by boat and rated suitable for beginners. It sits near an active sugar-loading shipping channel, which means boat traffic is a notable hazard. Visibility is variable, ranging from low to reasonably clear depending on conditions, and currents are generally mild. Species recorded at the site include elongate clams, golden-striped butterflyfish, soldier crabs, sea urchins, and snails. Jellyfish can also be present.
