Labyrinth Slot Canyon offers a unique freshwater snorkeling experience through narrow, winding sandstone walls. Access to this site requires a boat, as it is located approximately 17 kilometres from the shore. The environment is characterised by calm water, which allows for observation of the intricate erosion patterns along the canyon floor. Depths at this site range from the surface down to approximately 9 metres. Visibility is variable, typically ranging between 2 and 6 metres. Due to the nature of the slot canyon environment, this site is best suited for intermediate snorkelers.

Face Canyon is a freshwater site located in the United States near Lake Powell, characterised by dramatic vertical walls and the notable Fat Man Squeeze slot canyon feature. Divers and snorkellers can navigate the transition from deep channel water to the shallow, sandy terminus of the canyon. Access to this site requires a boat. Conditions are generally mild, though water conditions can vary. The site is suitable for intermediate divers and offers a high-quality experience for snorkellers. As this is a freshwater environment, there is no coral present.
