The site features depths ranging from 1 to 10 metres, with an average depth of 6 metres. Entry is from the shore, and divers can expect mild currents and visibility between 5 and 15 metres. The water remains cool year-round, typically around 15°C. Due to the deep water and cold temperatures, visitors should be prepared for these specific environmental conditions. The Crack at Wet Beaver Creek is a narrow slot canyon carved into red sandstone, creating a distinct freshwater snorkeling environment.
