Senga Bay lies on the central stretch of Lake Malawi and offers freshwater reef diving across three island sites: Maleri Island, Nakantenga Island, and Lizard Island. All are reached by boat from shore. Depths across the sites run from ten to thirty metres, and conditions are manageable for beginners and intermediate divers alike, with mild currents throughout. Visibility is variable and can be lower than at some other lake locations, so guided dives are worth considering. The dry season, from May through August, brings the calmest conditions.

Fin maps 3 sites in Senga Bay (3 scuba diving sites and 1 snorkelling spots, with some suited to both).
