The Lacuna is a collapsed sea cave located in the Subantarctic Islands of New Zealand. This advanced dive site features a distinct topography defined by moss stalactites hanging from the cave rim and extensive kelp beds situated below. Access to the site is strictly by boat. Divers should be prepared for strong currents and the challenges of an overhead environment. The water temperature ranges between 9C and 11C throughout the year. Due to the presence of surf, boat traffic, and entanglement risks, this site is intended for experienced divers. Snorkelling is also possible at this location.

Tagua Bay is a sheltered site situated within the Carnley Harbour caldera. The topography features a rocky shoreline and the submerged remains of wartime coastal watching stations, which serve as an artificial reef. Divers should be prepared for cold water conditions, with temperatures typically ranging between 9°C and 11°C. The site is subject to low visibility and strong currents, making it suitable for advanced divers only. Access to the water is possible via both shore and boat entries. Due to the challenging environmental conditions and depth, this location requires appropriate thermal protection and experience in cold water diving.
