Salmon Creek Mouth is located approximately 3.5 kilometres west of Pond Inlet, where the river flows into Eclipse Sound. This site is accessed from the shore and requires snorkellers to travel 3500 metres from the entry point. Conditions are characterised by very cold Arctic waters, with temperatures ranging from -2C to 4C throughout the year. Due to the challenging environment, including low visibility and extreme cold, this site is rated for intermediate snorkellers. The topography is defined by the river mouth meeting the sound, providing a unique setting for observing the local environment during the summer melt.

Sermilik Glacier, located on the southern coast of Bylot Island, offers a unique opportunity to observe the underwater structure of Arctic ice. Divers and snorkellers can explore the area near the glacier face, which is frequently populated by small ice fragments known as bergy bits. Access to this site requires a boat, as it is situated 25 kilometres from the shore. Conditions are challenging, with water temperatures ranging from -2C to 4C and moderate currents. Due to the extreme cold, significant depth, and strong currents, this site is suitable only for advanced divers. Visibility is variable, reaching up to 15 metres.

Oliver Sound (Kangiqluruluk) is a narrow fjord located within Sirmilik National Park, defined by its towering cliffs and active tidewater glaciers. This site offers wall and drift diving opportunities in a dramatic, sheltered landscape. Due to the extreme environment, water temperatures range from -2C to 5C, and conditions include potential hazards such as strong currents, down currents, and low visibility. Access is by boat only, and the site is suited for advanced divers. The habitat supports various cold-water marine life and invertebrates typical of this Arctic region. Snorkellers may explore the base of the glaciers in this unique, high-latitude setting.
