Coronation Glacier Terminus is a marine site in Canada where the glacier meets the sea, forming a dramatic ice wall. Divers and snorkellers can explore the moat situated between the glacier and the adjacent granite cliffs. This site is located 10,000 metres from shore and requires boat access. Conditions are characterised by extremely cold water year-round, low visibility, and potential hazards including down currents, entanglement, and overhead environments. Due to the challenging nature of the environment, this site is suitable for advanced divers. Snorkelling is also possible at this location.

Qikiqtarjuaq Harbor offers shore-entry snorkeling along the rocky coastline of Broughton Island. This site features kelp forests in sheltered waters near the community. Conditions are challenging, with water temperatures ranging from -2C to 3C, requiring specialized thermal protection to mitigate the high risk of hypothermia. Visibility varies significantly, ranging from 5 to 50 metres, while currents remain mild. The site reaches depths of up to 400 metres. Due to the extreme cold, this location is suited for intermediate snorkelers prepared for Arctic conditions. The habitat supports various Arctic fish and invertebrates typical of the region.

Iceberg Alley, located at the northern tip of Broughton Island, serves as a natural trap for massive icebergs drifting south from Greenland. This drift site offers an environment for advanced divers and snorkellers to observe submerged ice sculptures and the deep blue ice-light effect beneath the surface. Conditions are challenging, with depths reaching 150 metres, moderate currents, and extremely cold water temperatures ranging from -4°C to 0°C. The site features both shore and boat entry options. Due to the presence of overhead environments, strong currents, and surf, this location is strictly for advanced participants. Guided tours are available to navigate these Arctic waters.
