Cala Varques is a wild, undeveloped cove on the east coast of Majorca. The site is characterised by rocky limestone formations along the sides of the bay and extensive Posidonia seagrass meadows on the seabed. Divers and snorkellers can explore several underwater caves located within the cove. Water temperatures fluctuate significantly throughout the year, ranging from 15C in the winter months to 27C in August. Access to the water is possible from both the shore and by boat. Due to the nature of the terrain and the presence of caves, this site is best suited for intermediate snorkellers.

The path to the cove is unpaved so closed-toe footwear is recommended.
Accessible only on foot via a 1.5 km dirt track from the Son Caló car park or by sea. Landowner charges a small access fee.
