Ribbon Five Mile is a reef site located 2000m offshore within the Sodwana Reefs. Divers typically experience depths between 18m and 21m, with an average depth of 19m. Access to this site requires a boat. Conditions are variable, with moderate currents present. Marine life recorded at the site includes common wrasses and hermit crabs. Divers may also encounter uncommon species such as laced moray, bluespotted fantail ray, snowflake moray, pufferfish, raccoon butterflyfish, porcupinefish, Indo-Pacific sergeant major, emperor, grunt, bream, and crab. The rare sunrise tentacle aeolid has also been observed here. This site is suited for advanced divers due to the depth and current conditions.

Hot Spot is a reef located 3500 metres offshore from Sodwana Bay. This site requires a boat entry and is suited for intermediate divers due to strong currents and surge. Depths range from 14 to 30 metres, with an average of 30 metres. Visibility typically fluctuates between 10 and 30 metres. Divers may encounter common species such as the Bluespotted Fantail Ray. Uncommon sightings include the Emperor Angelfish, Indian Lionfish, Clown Triggerfish, Lunartail Grouper, Laced Moray, Potato Bass, Titan Triggerfish, and Chromodoris Nudibranch. Rare species recorded here include the Spotted Eagle Ray, Grey Nurse Shark, Weedy Scorpionfish, Giant Frogfish, and Turkey Moray. Night diving is available at this location.

Quarter Mile is a shallow reef located 500 metres offshore within the Sodwana Reefs. Caves and Overhangs is a reef site within the Sodwana Reefs, characterised by large, blocky boulders interspersed with sandy patches. The topography features a variety of caves and overhangs, creating a complex structure for divers to explore. With depths ranging from 7 to 15 metres, the site offers excellent visibility between 25 and 40 metres. Access is strictly by boat, and the site is suitable for beginners due to the mild currents. Water temperatures are warm, fluctuating between 22 and 28C throughout the year. Divers should be aware of boat traffic, sharp coral, and the presence of lionfish in the area.
