Holy Cross Point is a drift snorkel site located in Canada near Arctic Bay. Situated opposite Uluksan Point, the site is defined by a significant tidal rip that creates strong currents. Arctic Bay Shoreline offers a cold-water environment featuring gravel beds, reefs, and kelp forests. Divers and snorkellers can access the site directly from the shore. Conditions are challenging, with water temperatures ranging from -2C to 1C, low visibility, and potential overhead environments. The site is suitable for intermediate divers, with depths typically between 1m and 15m, averaging 10m. Currents are generally mild. Due to the extreme cold, specialised thermal protection is required for all in-water activities. The site provides a unique opportunity to explore Arctic marine topography in a remote setting.
