Divers and snorkellers access the water from the shore. Conditions are variable, with visibility typically between 1 and 3 metres and mild currents. The water temperature is cold, ranging from 4 to 18 degrees Celsius, and can approach freezing during winter months. Due to the cold water, appropriate thermal protection is required. The site is suitable for beginners, with typical dives lasting approximately 120 minutes.

The Crack at Wet Beaver Creek is a narrow slot canyon carved into red sandstone, creating a distinct freshwater snorkeling environment. The site features the Tongue of the Beaver, a rock formation frequently used for jumping. Access is via a shore entry, with the site located 6400 metres from the shore. Conditions are generally intermediate, with moderate currents and water temperatures that remain cold or cool throughout the year. Divers and snorkellers should be aware of the deep water and potential for low visibility. Toilets are available at the location for visitor use.

Bull Pen Swimming Hole is a canyon site located on West Clear Creek at Lake Pleasant. This natural pool is framed by red cliffs and sycamore trees, offering a distinct environment for both diving and snorkelling. The site features depths ranging from 1 to 10 metres, with an average depth of 6 metres. Entry is from the shore, and divers can expect mild currents and visibility between 5 and 15 metres. The water remains cool year-round, typically around 15°C. Due to the deep water and cold temperatures, visitors should be prepared for these specific environmental conditions.
