Kangiqtugaapik is a shore-access snorkel site located in a sheltered cove directly in front of the Clyde River hamlet in Canada. The site features kelp forests set against a backdrop of dramatic mountains. Snorkelling depths range from 2 to 15 metres, with an average depth of 8 metres. Conditions include mild currents and visibility typically between 10 and 20 metres. Due to the Arctic location, water temperatures are very cold, ranging from -1C to 3C, which necessitates the use of specialised thermal protection. This site is suited for advanced snorkellers due to the extreme cold water hazards.

Sinaaq, known as the line of life, is the seasonal boundary where land-fast ice meets the open ocean of Baffin Bay. This site is accessible only by boat and is suited for advanced divers and snorkellers due to the extreme cold, overhead environment, and moderate currents. Depths are shallow, averaging 2 metres with a range of 1 to 5 metres. Visibility typically fluctuates between 5 and 15 metres. Given the harsh Arctic conditions and potential for shifting ice, this site requires careful planning and experience in cold-water environments. The site is particularly active during the spring months when the ice edge provides a unique interface between the frozen landscape and the open sea.
