Helen Island Shoreline is an uninhabited limestone island situated in the northern reaches of Pelly Bay. Snorkelling here is an advanced activity due to the extreme Arctic conditions, with water temperatures ranging between -1C and 1C throughout the year. Access to the site is by boat. Divers and snorkellers must be prepared for the significant hazard of cold water, which requires specialised equipment and experience. The site offers a unique opportunity to observe the rugged Arctic topography of the region.

Sinaaq is an extreme drift site located in Canada near Kugaaruk, where land-fast ice meets the open water of the Gulf of Boothia. This site is suitable for advanced divers and snorkellers, offering both shore and boat entry options. Conditions are challenging, with moderate currents, low visibility ranging from 5 to 15 metres, and extreme cold water temperatures between -1C and 1C. Dives are typically short, lasting around 15 minutes. Hazards include the deep water, strong currents, and the severe cold. This location is best suited for experienced individuals prepared for arctic conditions.
